For Truth magazine, I chose a small transparent plastic bead as my object. What I got inspiration from my object is distortion. The bead is transparent so you can see everything clearly when looking through the bead. However, everything is not their real look at the same time. They are distorted by looking through the bead. This is a metaphor that how people see things or see the world. Because everyone has different world values, they see things from a different perspective which makes the thing or the world not true to some extent.

Therefore, instead of using the traditional layout and type setting, I distorted the design principle in the magazine. Everything supposed to be small is big in the magazine and the type size also keeps changing. I hope you can enjoy the “distorted” Truth magazine.
